Meet Christy Dawson, Owner and Maker
Christy grew up with dirt under her nails and herbs on her mind, always tending little patches of flowers and medicine plants. Years later, she planted elderberry bushes and started simmering syrup for her own family, then for friends and coworkers. Their encouragement nudged her into farmers markets, festivals, and this apothecary.
Today she still grows or forages most herbs herself and handcrafts every syrup, salve, tincture, and tallow cream in tiny batches. Hearing that something she made has helped a tired mama or a sniffly kid keeps her learning, experimenting, and pouring love into each jar.

Why Our Little Apothecary
Small-batch herbal care, homegrown plants, and real conversation about what you truly need.
Garden to Apothecary
Most herbs begin in Christy's garden or local hedgerows, then move gently into syrups, salves, and tinctures.
Tailored for You
We listen to your ideas, talk through options, and craft small-batch remedies just for you.
Rooted in Tradition
Every bottle and jar holds simple, recognizable ingredients and herbs used in folk traditions for generations.
How It All Began
This little apothecary started with a few elderberry bushes, a stovetop, and Christy's family gathered around mason jars of dark, fragrant syrup. Sharing extra syrup with friends and coworkers quickly turned into requests, then regular orders. Alongside that, childhood love for flowers and herbs grew into learning about their medicine, filling weekends with garden chores and late-night reading.
What Guides Us Now
Today every product is still made by hand in small batches, using the highest quality ingredients we can find and many herbs Christy grows or forages herself. We keep things simple, natural, and sustainable, leaning on glass and eco-friendly packaging whenever possible. Custom orders and free chats are always welcome, so wander through the shop or reach out to dream up something together.
